This is a good question with a surprisingly complex answer. :)
The short answer is that this is neither a final scaled score nor a raw score. If this sounds complicated, you might want to explore the scoring section of this website which has a lot of information about how the GMAT is scored and what types of scores you get. There is more information there than you need to answer this one question, but curious minds will enjoy the resources.
Your raw score for the quantitative section is out of 37 and for the verbal section is out of 41. From here, the GMAT starts to present an intermediate scaled score: Verbal and Quantitative scores range from 0 to 60, which is the type of score that you see reflected in the dashboard estimate. Scores below 9 and above 44 for the Verbal section and below 7 and above 50 for the Quantitative section are rare, so keep that in mind, too. (These ranges may seem arbitrary, but information comes directly from GMAC itself.)
The score you see on your dashboard is that intermediate scaled score that is on the GMAT's 0-60 scale. If you want to create an estimated scaled score, you can use this blog post to take your dashboard estimate and plug it directly into those charts on the blog post. They are the same as the top and left scores for verbal and quant. You need to have an estimate displayed for both verbal and quant to be able to project a 200-800 score for yourself. :)
