"When will my official scores be reported after testing?
If you take the computer-delivered GRE revised General Test, your official scores will be available in your My GRE account and sent to the institutions you designated approximately 10–15 days after your test date.
If you take the paper-delivered test, your official scores will be available in your My GRE account and sent to the institutions you designated within six weeks after your test date."
So I asked them this:
"How will my scores be sent to my scoring recepients? Is it by physical mail, so it takes a while for the scores to get to them, or is it electronically, so they receive my scores immediately?"
They replied back with this:
"Score reports are sent to the institutions in the manner in which they have requested. They have the option to receive them electronically, CD-ROM, or paper reports.
If you would like to know how an institution receives score reports, you may email us the request. Please include the name of the institution along with its 4-digit code."

It actually depends on each individual school.
On the ETS website I found this:

Hope this helps!
